Benefits for content owners

Content Partners link their content to locations using the Toozla service. We do not wish to compete with our partners in creating guides for places where audio guides already exist; nor, however, do we want to prevent normal competition: if several publishers offer guides for a single territory, these will be assigned to different streams and will be equally available to users.

The benefits of Toozla for our Content Partners:

• Access to mobile users via a ready-to-use technology. No need to worry about technical aspects, as the technology is already up and running. Once your content is linked to a location, it is available to Toozla users.
• Content can be provided in both text and audio format, with TTS (text-to-speech) on-the-fly processing available.
• It is easy to expand your presence into new markets, to access millions more devices.
• You control usage of your content. Thanks to special reporting and billing systems, you can keep track of every aspect of your guide online.
• You can analyse the quality of your guide. Are there any gaps in the content? Is the guide too heavy-going in some parts? Where is your guide most frequently used? Usage intensity for each individual file can be analysed in relation to users' profiles (sex, age, language). Usage of our Partners' content can be analysed from the point of view of usage frequency, popularity at certain times or on certain days of the week, etc. We also provide raw log files for analysis.
• Flexibility of tour design. Our online map tool allows you to create various different configurations of your guide. It's easy to manage and publish content. When you create new POIs and add content, the new information becomes available to users immediately!
• We have developed various payment systems for the use of content. At present we distribute content free-of-charge. However, as soon as the critical user count is reached for each stream, we can introduce a payment system. We are considering the following payment systems: pre-payment per guide; pre-payment per unit of traffic; post-payment per unit of traffic; pre-payment per stream. We are also reviewing various advertising-based schemes.
• Your content can be securely stored on your server.
• Audio content is stored and broadcast in a special compressed format, so files are of no interest to pirates, or for any other use.
• Data are transmitted over the internet. Our hosting provider guarantees the provision of a reliable server.
• If our Partner wishes, we can assign their content to a commentable stream. This gives them the option of improving their guide based on live audio feedback from users. In this case we can accept no responsibility for the quality or content of user feedback.

Additional notes and disclaimers

• We are developing an import tool to allow you to import your existing guides into Toozla.
• We provide technical support for the standard application for the end-user telephone. We designed the Java2ME application that provides the basic functions. We provide a link on our site where anyone can download and install the application for free. We provide limited warranty that this application will correctly support the current server protocol. We are unable to guarantee that the application will work on any device (mainly due to limitations associated with Java technology). We are able to provide source codes if a Partner wishes to develop its own application (for example, to provide access to its stream only).
• We reserve the right to delete any content from our server and block any Content Partner in case of violation of social rights or general laws, including upon the request of legal or other authorities.
