toozla Tutorial

Toozla is a virtual audio guide that you can take with you wherever you go. Toozla plays audio stories about the sights you pass as you walk along a street.

To use Toozla, you will need a mobile phone that supports GPS navigation, so that Toozla can play you stories relevant to your current location.

Once you have set up your profile correctly, Toozla can match the stories it plays to your personal preferences.

Toozla anchors stories to the objects around you. Simply switch Toozla to walking mode, and start walking. When you come to an object with a story relevant to your profile, Toozla will download the story and automatically start to play it. If you stay at the same location for a while, Toozla will play you further detailed information.

There’s no need to look at your phone, or leaf through a book. Just start walking, and get listening. Cool, isn’t it?

Select «Channels» from the menu, and you will see a list of the channels available. Subscribe to the channels you would like to listen to. Each channel provides information relating to a specific theme, for example tourist guides, shopping guides, user chat, and so on. 

This information is provided by our partners and by Toozla users themselves.

You can create your own audio notes and anchor them to your current location, so that everyone can listen to them. Just select «Post audio note» from the menu, and record your note. The note will be uploaded to the Internet in a matter of seconds, and will be available to listen to.

Your audio notes are assigned to the channel that you have set as default.

You can manage your notes via a website.

In order to manage your audio notes, you will need access to the Toozla website. Please provide us with your e-mail address, and we will send you further instructions. You can do this at any time via the menu.
